What you share with us

When you inquire, book, or work with us, we collect information you provide directly:

• Contact details — names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses for you and, where relevant, your partner or planner.
• Event details — wedding date, venue, timeline, family and wedding party information, and any preferences you share with us.
• Booking and payment records — contracts, invoices, retainer and payment history processed through HoneyBook.
• Referral information — referral codes you share or use, so we can apply discounts and rewards.
• Communications — emails, messages, questionnaires, and consultation notes.

We also collect some information automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring links. See Cookies & Analytics below.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

• Respond to inquiries, check availability, and schedule consultations.
• Prepare contracts, collect payments, and manage your booking.
• Plan, photograph, and film your wedding day.
• Edit and deliver your galleries, films, albums, and video books.
• Operate the referral program and apply discounts and rewards.
• Send service updates and, with your consent, occasional marketing.
• Improve our website and services, and protect against fraud or misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Handled securely through HoneyBook

All contracts, invoices, and payments are processed through HoneyBook, our client management platform. Your card and bank details are collected and stored by HoneyBook and its payment processors, not on our servers. We see confirmation of your payments, but we never see or store your full card number. HoneyBook's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, available at honeybook.com.

Your memories, your gallery

Your wedding photos and films are delivered through a private online gallery accessible only by link. You control who you share that link with.

Like most wedding studios, we may feature selected images or film clips in our portfolio, on our website, and on our social media. The specific usage rights are set out in your signed contract, which governs if and how your images may be used publicly. If you prefer your wedding stay entirely private, tell us before booking and we will reflect that in your agreement.

How referral codes work

When you book with us, you receive a custom referral code. If a couple books using your code, we record the connection between the two bookings so we can apply their 10% discount and send you your free canvas print. We use this information only to run the program. We do not share your booking details with the couples you refer, or theirs with you.

Our website

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site working properly, and understand how visitors use it (for example, which pages are most helpful). Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work properly without them.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers — HoneyBook, our gallery and website hosting providers, album and print labs, and email tools, only as needed to serve you.
• Our team — the photographers, videographers, and editors working your wedding.
• Your vendors — your planner or venue, when coordinating your day or providing proof of insurance.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

If our business is ever sold or merged, client records may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records, contracts, and payment history as long as needed for business, tax, and legal purposes. Wedding galleries and raw footage are retained according to the archive terms in your contract; we recommend downloading and backing up your full gallery when it is delivered. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

You can always:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or update your information.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law or contract.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Children who appear in wedding photos and films are photographed as guests of your event under the terms of your contract.
